This is the class blog for Shelby Jennings Gomez. I chose this template for a couple of reasons, which I will enumerate below.
1) It was titled "Travel." I love to travel, and have done a fair amount of traveling in the past, so that definitely caught my attention.
2) The feel of the image is very romantic and evocative of a place where the old still survives and the tide of progress has not swept away the shore just yet. The image combined with the template title makes you imagine going to a place where a room like this might exist-- where people don't have flat screen TV's, but they do have beautiful paintings and prints and lovely lamps and leather chairs, and they haven't traded these old things for all the new conveniences and entertainments we have today.
awesome template. I agree that the people who live in this template probably don't have tv's. That's rad.
